Situated on the slope like terrain, Hill Sherpa Toll is a remote non- tourist village with a school, a monastery and a health post. There are around 120 houses in the village where most people depend on agriculture for livelihood. Cattle farming are on alternative. Some of the people from the village are familiar with tourism sector. They mostly work as trekking guide and mountain climber. The village is simply beautiful surrounded by hills on all sides.
While talking about infrastructure, there is a school which is totally damaged by earthquake. There were three buildings but neither of them is in use nor are they useful. Recently the students are studying in a temporary building build with tarps roof and bamboo woven walls. Monsoon rain is damaging the temporary village day by day. Furthermore there is a health post but it is less than a health post. The village doesn’t have the internet access. They do have the telecommunication via cell phones. The electricity line is being set up but it has been stopped for while which means slow in progress.
